All good book lovers have a library that might just be a tad too much to take sometimes. I personally forget that I have some books and I get excited about finding something I didn't remember having.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with this, but I freaking love it:

librarything

your personal library + social networking for the stuff that counts.

my name over there? Spoerk

(:

i have only logged the books that are in my room right now and have read. (there are a few that I didn't read yet on that list but I'm too lazy to change that)

I have a ton more... it's just a matter of getting it up there.

I estimated once that I have anywhere between 1500 and 2000 books (though it may be more) so I'm not sure how well I'll catalog them all though it's always been a goal of mine to get them all recorded, sorted, shelved and cataloged. First, though, I have to beat back the mess and get some more shelves. I have books stacked four and five deep on boxes (and some books just still in the boxes from when I last moved in 2002). It really has gotten quite out of control.

I'm over at Bibliophil.org, myself:

http://www.bibiliophil.org

Username: Briphelia

I don't really "use" it much, just to catalogue my stuff. I really should get around to putting my reviews in over there, too, but eh.
Since it's too much trouble to switch (and re-catalogue all those books? Oye!) I'll just check in at the other site every now and then.

I like that you can do the cover view thing on Librarything, but Bibliophil is free for as many books as you can enter. So... *shrug* I still wanna look at all my book covers in one view... nerdy as that sounds.

Here is mine.

Since I hit 200 I've bought more books! Eep, oh what a mess. I should upgrade my account, but eh.

That's another plus for Bibliophil: it's free. Then again, the thought of transferring all those books... it makes my head and my typing fingers hurt.

It makes mine hurt, too!

Actually, I do have a bibliophil account. I just never used it on a regular basis. XD

ps: Wizard of Oz rocks ♥
